Patch Tuesday Updates For Windows 7 RC

Published by techspotlight at 12:05 am under Windows 7 Edit This

Microsoft’s update schedule for Windows has been every second Tuesday of the month, with Windows 7 I think this will probably stay the same.  There were no updates for Windows 7 RC (Release Candidate) yesterday, only the normal Definition Update for Windows Defender, which actually comes down the pipes several times a month.

There were however 2 very important security holes plugged last week, which were out of cycle.  One of them being with Microsoft Silverlight and the other having to do with the programming language Microsoft Visual C++.  Up until now Windows 7 seems to be less prone to security vulnerabilities, and hopefully this will stay the course when the final version is widely available in October.
