Thirst Trailer Opening In New York City Only
Showing at select theaters in New York City this coming Friday is the movie Thirst which is a dramatic horror film that has an alternate title of Bakjwi. Thirst is written and directed by Chan-Wook Park.
A brief summary for Thirst is a beloved and devoted priest from a small town volunteers for a medical experiment which fails and turns him into a vampire. Physical and psychological changes lead to his affair with a wife of his childhood friend who is repressed and tired of her mundane life. The one-time priest falls deeper in despair and depravity. As things turn for worse, he struggles to maintain whats left of his humanity. The movie has been Rated R for bloody violence, disturbing images, language, nudity and sexual content. It is a long film also lasting over 2 hours.
