Linksys Extenders Confirmed To Work With Windows 7
With the RTM (Release To Manufacturing) final version of Windows 7 looming, I thought I would let everyone know that the Linksys Extenders for Media Center do indeed work with the latest and greatest Operating System by Microsoft. Any day now Microsoft should finalize the code, but Windows 7 will still be unavailable to the public until October 22nd of this year.
The new Media Center inside Windows 7 is fabulous, and if you own either the Linksys DMA2100 or DMA2200, you will be glad to know that the Windows 7MC interface sports the new UI as well. Most of the features on the Media Center PC will transfer nicely to the Extender. Soon you will be able to get your hands on Windows 7 and Media Center, and I would advise you to test it out. I think you will be impressed at all of the improvements in both the OS and MC.
