CAT6 Ethernet Cables
Home networks require either a wireless or wired ethernet connection, and for optimum performance their is nothing better then using wired CAT cables. There are some choices here including CAT5, CAT5E and CAT6. If you are needing a long run of cabling or are using gigabit speeds, then you should go with CAT6.
CAT6 is pretty much the standard now in ethernet cabling, especially since the vast influx of gigabit networking. Surprisingly, CAT6 cable is only pennies more than CAT5 and CAT5E cables, so there is no reason to buy anymore ethernet wires lower than the CAT6 rating.
Cables Unlimited through Amazon are priced very inexpensively at only $21.95 for 50 feet of snagless ethernet cord. Prices can range widely depending on the store and the quality of the cables, so it is always best to shop around before buying. For more information or ordering details, follow this link.
