IE8 Is Here
A few weeks ago Internet Explorer version 8 came out of Beta and Release Candidate status, and is here now for all users to enjoy. IE8 is Microsoft’s next step at Internet Browser greatness. Since we all are on the web most of the time when using our computers, I foresee that browsers will be updated and tweaked far more often that was done so in the past.
Microsoft has touted 5 new key features to the dominant IE platform, including Accelerators which allow email, map directions and translations in far fewer keystrokes, InPrivate Browsing which allows you to navigate throughout the web without keeping a history, Search Suggestions which provides the users with visual previews and suggested sites, SmartScreen Filter which provides you upgraded security features that protects you from malicious websites and Web Slices which provides its users with a drop-down menu for common activities like sports scores, stocks and weather.
Internet Explorer 8 is available for Windows XP, Vista, 7 and Server editions in both 32 bit and 64 bit architectures. IE8 is also available in several different languages to accommodate its vast user base. To get the new and exciting IE8, follow this link.
