Free Software To Test RAM (Memory)

Published by techspotlight under Software Edit This

Memtest86+ is a great piece of software that has been around for many years that checks the RAM (Random Access Memory) sticks that are in your computer.  This great tool checks each bank of memory with a battery of tests and verifies if the RAM in your computer is running properly or not.

Memtest86+ is available in many packages including a bootable ISO image for a CD or DVD, an EXE file for a USB Flash Drive, a pre-compiled installer for a Floppy Disk and a pre-compiled bootable binary in either the ZIP or GZ format.  Once you get Memtest86+ on the medium of your choice, you simply bootup your computer and the software goes to work in a DOS type style.  For more information or downloading instructions follow this link.
