DSE901 AKA 901 E-Cig Electronic Cigarette Review
Electronic Cigarettes are coming on strong this year with more suppliers and websites popping up all over the place. It has been exactly a month since I quit smoking tobacco cigarettes and moved into vaping with an Electronic Cigarette commonly called an E-Cig or ecig.
My first purchase was a DSE901 also known as 901 or DSE901B. The reason I chose this device was because of the extensive research I did on all of the models before delving into the E-Cig world. The 901 has become the most popular E-Cig on the market due to a few reasons including a small form factor, parts availability, price, ease of draw and vapor production.

My initial impression was “Wowzers!” I couldn’t believe that this little product could be so similar to an ordinary cigarette. In fact, I had bought several different flavors of juice with my 901 purchase, that it made me so easily stop smoking ordinary menthol cigarettes. Some of the flavors I initially tried was Cola, Strawberry, Coffee, Vanilla, Banana and RY4 which is a tobacco, caramel, vanilla mixture. I personally never liked the taste and after-taste tobacco cigarettes left in my mouth, and now I don’t have to deal with it anymore.
Back to the 901 review. Now that I have tried 4 different models of Electronic Cigarettes, I can give you some idea on how well the 901 performs, feels and lasts. I will be rating on a scale of 1 through 10, 1 being poor and 10 being perfect in a variety of categories, to give you, the users some sense of how good the 901 is.
Ease of draw (8), Looks (8), Weight (9), Vapor Production (8), Battery Life (5), Cartridge Life, Holds 0.5ml (6), Portability (8). Overall, comparing all factors of the 901, I would rate this as a great starting point for any new user with a total rating scale of a 7. Even many seasoned veterans of E-Cigs keep a few 901’s around because they are reliable, durable and work very well on a daily basis.
In the weeks and months ahead I will be rating more devices, so stay tuned. Coming early next month, I will be reviewing the Classic PenStyle aka RN4072, DSE801. Note: Pictured above is the DSE901B. B stands for black. The 901 comes in a variety of colors with many different LED colors as well.
