Windows Live Essentials 2009 Package

Published by techspotlight under Software Edit This

Microsoft has been working on the Windows Live Essentials package for sometime now, and it is basically completed except for one program that is still in beta which is Movie Maker.  Microsoft has decided to strip out all of their software in the next OS release Windows 7, but users will want to install this package immediately upon setting up their computer system, no matter if they are running Windows XP, Vista or 7.  This complete software suite is absolutely excellent in my opinion, and it will give an easy way for Microsoft to maintain an update path for all of the included applications.

The Windows Live Essentials 2009 Software Bundle can be downloaded here and includes the following programs.

  1. Family Safety
  2. Mail
  3. Messenger
  4. Movie Maker
  5. Office Live Add-in
  6. Office Outlook Connector
  7. Photo Gallery
  8. Silverlight
  9. Toolbar
  10. Writer

You don’t have to install all of the software included in the package.  You can choose which applications you desire or select them all for a complete PC experience that includes the basic fundamentals of personal computing.
