1 Terabyte External Hard Drives

Published by techspotlight under Hardware Edit This

The continual lowering costs of storage space devices has been a boon to the market.  Consumers are getting some excellent deals on memory (RAM) and specifically hard drives.  With the plummeting prices very cost effective, everyone can now afford to buy larger hard drives for the storage of all their files, music, pictures and videos.

There are many 1 TB (terabyte or 1,000 GB) external hard drives now available.  The leaders in the market like Seagate and Western Digital (My Book Essentials Pictured) have many products available for around $100 buckaroos.  There are even many off brands selling 1 TB externals for $75 dollars at a lot of web outlets.  Besides getting an external HD with a good warranty make sure the one you purchase has the connections you want.  Most come standard with USB 2.0, but if you need Firewire or E-Sata, make sure it has the connections.

Externals are becoming a necessity for backing up your computer quickly and effortlessly.  Who knows how much lower the price can get, but for now 1 Terabyte external hard drives are dirt cheap and I wouldn’t hesitate at all buying one if your in the market for the device.
