Stop Websites From Changing Browser Size In Firefox

Published by techspotlight at 12:05 am under Internet Edit This

One of the most annoying things that webmasters do with their website is alter the Firefox window size.  While many people have their browser window set to a full screen output, many others do not, and it is very cumbersome to have to readjust the Firefox browser window every time this happens, and it happens quite frequently.  To stop websites from manipulating your Firefox browser window follow the steps below.

  1. Click on “Tools” and select “Options”
  2. Click on the “Content” tab
  3. Click on the “Advanced…” button across from Enable JavaScript option
  4. Uncheck the box labeled “Move or resize existing windows”
  5. Click OK on the two open popup windows

    Britishidol,

I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling FF. See if that does the trick.
