Only One Major Security Update For Windows

Published by techspotlight at 12:05 am under Windows Updates Edit This

This could be a historic day for Microsoft as there was only one major security vulnerability in Windows this month.  There monthly schedule of releasing updates and fixes usually provides many, many patches.  It’s actually nice this month not having to download 5-15 updates as usual.

The one major security update addresses a vulnerability that could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to compromise your system and gain control over it.  Installing this update will protect your system from this flaw in Windows.  As usual also, the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool is included just to scan your system for known malicious software, like Blaster, Mydoom and Sasser.
