Kingwin KW-01 Wireless Mouse Review

Published by techspotlight under Hardware Edit This

Over the holidays I was in the market for a new mouse as my Logitech LX7 was on the fritz, which I really liked, so my Christmas present to myself was a Kingwin 2.4 GHz RF Wireless Mouse.  This was also my first attempt at an ergonomic style mouse, as I always used the more conventional type.

Positive things about the Kingwin mouse are 8 buttons which 2 are user configurable, 1600 DPI (Dots Per Inch), Long wireless range up to 33 feet, small USB receiver, multimedia mode for controlling audio and video hot keys.

Negative things about the Kingwin mouse are sometimes the mouse lags (usually happens once a day), right handed design only, mouse buttons a little stiff, made for a larger hand, incapable of using rechargeable batteries.

With 2 weeks of use now, the mouse still feels a little awkward to me because of the ergonomic style.  Overall, the mouse movement is excellent and very smooth with a simple push button to change from 800 to 1600 DPI on the fly.  The left and right mouse button takes more force than I would like to click.  It is quite bulky which I like, but medium to smaller hands will definitely want to stay clear of this mouse.

If you are looking for a Wireless Mouse and don’t want to pay $50 dollars or more for a Logitech or Microsoft Mouse then I would recommend this for you, only if you have a larger hand and are use to an ergonomic design.  I paid $30 bucks just a few weeks ago and like always it is cheaper already for $22 bucks.  For more information and ordering details you can visit this link here.
