PC Game Trek has developed a game similar to PacMan that was a sensational super hit of the 80’s.  The game is called SpacePac Duo and you control a jet fighter ship and must travel around through mazes catching stars while avoiding enemy UFO’s.  As in PacMan, there are special pellets (glowing suns in SpacePac Duo) that change the ghosts (UFO’s in SpacePac Duo) into a bluish color, where if you catch them you destroy them.

There is a total of 50 space themed mazes with moving background starfields that includes science fiction style music and sound effects.  I really like that you can use a gamepad instead of the keyboard which always makes games easier to play.  There is also a cool 2 player option where you and a buddy can team up and defeat the menacing UFO’s.

Unlike PacMan, SpacePac Duo has several bonuses that can help you like snowflake freeze, warp, jet shield and many others.  Overall I would have to give this game 2 thumbs up.  It is very fun, addictive and challenging.  PC Game Trek offers a trial version to test the game before buying it, which is always nice.  To download or buy SpacePac Duo follow this link here.
