Incredible Hanns-G 22″ LCD Monitor For Only $159

Published by techspotlight at 12:05 am under Hardware Edit This

Hanns-G an unknown company by most has become a major player in the LCD Monitor market arena.  They produce low cost, high quality displays for a fraction of the price that other companies charge.  The latest deal I seen was on NewEgg for Model Hi-221DPB which is a Hanns-G black 22 inch widescreen monitor with built-in speakers for only $159 bucks with free shipping, which is an amazing price for a monitor this size.

The monitor features 1680×1050 resolution, 160 degree viewing angle, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness and a fast response time of only 5 milliseconds.  This Hanns-G model is also HDCP (High Definition Content Protection) compliant with a DVI and D-Sub connector.  There is also a 3 year warranty included from the manufacturer which is a nice perk.  At $159, this is an amazing price, and more information can be found on this product by clicking this link.

160 degree viewing angle. Stay the hell away from those. 178 only.

@Tsu: You’re a moron. There is nothing wrong with 160deg viewing angle.

Bargain, yes. What I don’t understand is why it’s so hard to get higher resolution screens when Apple is selling 17″ MacBook Pros with 1920×1200 standard. My 19″ Acer X195w (refurbished, but still not too old) is 1440×900. In any case, that’s lower than my PowerBook’s 1680×1050.

We have a load of these at work and they’re very very good for the money, maybe it’s the batch we got, but no dead pixels that I’ve noticed, and no DOA. DVI is a great feature at this price too.

They’re not up there with a 22″ 1680×1050 samsung in build, brightness or adjustability, but they are 2/3 or even 1/2 the price. The screen is shiny rather than matt, which imo gets dirty quickly and is more reflective. But when we need more LCD’s I’ll be buying these.

all resolutions work great and this 5 miliseconds responce time is really good (i had one with 10 before and i can tell the difference) it could be some things done better but for this price i think is reaaaaaaalllllyyy good deal to get one of those :D
