Change The Size Of Windows Vista Desktop Icons
One of the new features of Windows Vista is the ability to change the size of all of your desktop icons very easily. You can scroll through many different sizes and choose from one of 28 icon sizes from smaller to bigger. Follow the 2 simple steps below to change icon sizes.
- Make sure the Windows Desktop is active by clicking anywhere on an empty space on the desktop.
- Hold down the CTRL (Control) key on the keyboard and slide the scroll wheel of the mouse upwards for larger icons and downwards for smaller icons.
All standard Windows icons will transform nicely and highly graphical. If you have non-standard icons on your desktop, like shortcuts, it is possible that those ones won’t change size. The developer would have had to include multiple sizes inside the icon file for the size to be altered.
