This Friday the movie Christmas Tale is coming to select theaters nationwide.  Catherine Deneuve stars in this holiday season film that is about a family of shared history of physical and mental illness, estrangement, self harm, and loss doesn’t lead itself to the idea of a cheerful holiday season, but can a Christmas time reunion, a scheme concocted by three of the youngest family members, finally bring peace throughout.

Christmas Tale was filmed in France and has a host of French actors.  The movie was actually released way back in May of 2008 in France, and gets a limited theater release in the U.S. on November 14th.  The movie is a dramatic full story that lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes.  The movie is entirely in the French language and has English subtitles.
