Published by techspotlight at 12:05 am under Windows Vista Edit This

Windows Vista includes a new function of the clock that gives you the ability to view separate clocks in different time zones with one easy click of the mouse.  Not many people know that you can assign multiple clocks within the Task Bar with different time zones.  To add multiple clocks follow the simple steps below.

  1. Click on the clock shown on the Windows Task Bar in the lower right corner of the screen.
  2. Click on “Change date and time settings…”
  3. Click on the Additional Clocks Tab on the top of the window.
  4. Put a check mark in “Show this clock” button.
  5. Select the time zone that you would like to view.
  6. Enter a clock name.
  7. Select OK.

You can have a total of 3 different clocks with different time zones, your current time and two others.  When you want to see the time in a different time zone simply click on the Task Bar clock.
