Coming to theaters everywhere this coming Friday is the next installment of Punisher, sufficiently named Punisher: War Zone, which is a follow up to The Punisher that was released in 2004.  Ray Stevenson plays Frank Castle and Dominic West plays the Jigsaw.

The tagline for the movie is “Vengeance has a name.” and is about Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, who hunts down and kills hundreds of violent criminals, faces his most deadly foe yet, the Jigsaw.  The movie was filmed in its entirety in many cities of Canada.  The MPAA has put a R Rating on the movie for brutal violence, language and some drug use.  This feature length film runs for 1 hour and 47 minutes.

Opening this coming Friday in a limited theater release is Cadillac Records which was written and directed by Darnell Martin.  The catchy tagline for the movie is “If you take the ride, you must pay the price.”

Cadillac Records is a dramatization of the music industry which is about a tale of sex, violence, race, and rock and roll in 1950’s Chicago.  The movie follows the exciting but turbulent lives of some of America’s musical legends including Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters and several more.

The movie was shot in 3 locations in the United States including Louisiana, Mississippi and New Jersey.  Cadillac Records has a MPAA Rating of R for language and some sexuality.
