Tech Spotlight

This time around Microsoft’s new ad campaign “I’m A PC” is connecting with people and is considered a success so far.  The first commercial of this type was released several days ago and I have an article here that can be viewed.

The second and third wave of the new commercials are pretty much the same, where the ad starts with the PC guy imitating the actor from the Apple switcher ads, stating “I’m A PC”.  From there the spotlight switches to people all around the world in different occupations stating they are PC’s also.  It’s actually very clever advertisements taking the limelight from their adversaries and stating we have users all over the world in all walks of life.

I am still hopeful they return to the story with Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld.  I was waiting to see where they were taking those bizarre ads.  We might never know, since these new commercials are pretty engaging.
