Microsoft Shifts Ad Campaign To “I’m A PC”

Published by techspotlight under Hollywood Edit This

The Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates two commercials have not gone well for Microsoft.  While they are funny, most people just didn’t get what Microsoft was trying to do or say with the ads.  It is still my contention that they were trying to tell a story over a period of time.  It is unknown if we will ever see anymore commercials based on the two stars.

The new “I’m A PC” commercials are connecting with a much broader audience.  Viewers understand them and it has been noted that it will effect the Mac vs. PC ads that Apple has released over several years now.  Personally, I think the commercials should be more geared towards Windows Vista instead of the generic term of PC.  Vista has a bad image in the consumers eyes and I think it would suit them well to incorporate more Vista terminology into their commercials.
