Saitek who is known for manufacturing and designing PC peripherals offers an array of 4 different color multimedia keyboard and mouse combos. The colors which are on the bright side include blue, green, light blue and pink. The matching mouse that is included in the set, is on the smaller size, almost laptop-style. The 104 key multimedia keyboard has several shortcut buttons that users have come to expect on a keyboard like home, email, back, forward, mute and volume controls. Both devices are plug and play compatible, so their is no need for the installation of drivers.
In my testing the keyboard’s keys are soft but require a heavy hand to get accurate results. The 800 dpi (dots per inch) optical mouse is very lightweight and works rather well. Both the keyboard and the mouse have a very cheap feel to them, and unless you have a need for a specific color, then I would stay clear of this combo package.
