iPhone: Enough Is Enough
Almost a year before Apple released their first generation iPhone in 2007, the hype had already begun. When it was getting close to launch to the public, the fanaticism that shrouded this phone was insane. It was everywhere, on the radio, television and web. You couldn’t escape the blather and rave reviews from any source.
Jump ahead to the present day and the release of the second generation iPhone and it all started again. People waiting in long lines just to get the new iPhone, that’s supposed to be so much better.
The over $2,000 phone for a 2 year period with 2 hours battery life and a phone that crashes frequently, still gets so much attention is getting really annoying. While I realize the iPhone has innovative features, it is still just a phone that plays music and videos, by the way, nothing new there.
I will stick to my cheap Nokia phone that cost $39, doesn’t crash, always works, sends email when I want it to and lasts me a week without a charge. Let’s put the iPhone chatter to rest now, it is long overdue.
